Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team Named for 2025-26 Season, Established Stars and Rising Talents Set for Olympic Winter

PARK CITY, Utah (Oct. 13, 2025) — U.S. Ski & Snowboard has announced the 49 athletes named to the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for the 2025-26 season, combining Olympic medalists, World Cup winners, and a new generation of rising stars.

Returning to the roster are some of the sport’s most accomplished athletes, including Mikaela Shiffrin, the winningest alpine skier of all time and an eight-time world champion; Lindsey Vonn, three-time Olympic medalist and 82-time World Cup winner; Ryan Cochran-Siegle, the 2022 Olympic super-G silver medalist; two-time world champion Breezy Johnson; and World Championship bronze medalists Lauren Macuga and Paula Moltzan.

A Season of High Stakes

The 2025-26 World Cup season features 20 women’s and 19 men’s events on the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup calendar. The highlight comes in February 2026 at the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games, where women will race in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, and men in Bormio.

The World Cup tour begins in Sölden, Austria (Oct. 25-26) with the traditional opening giant slalom before moving to Levi, Finland, for men’s and women’s slaloms. Later in the fall, North American fans will have the chance to cheer at home venues, including the inaugural Stifel Copper Cup at Copper Mountain (Nov. 27-30), followed by the men’s Stifel Birds of Prey races in Beaver Creek (Dec. 4-7).

Leadership and Preparation

“This is a determined group of athletes, fully prepared to compete at the highest level as we head into an Olympic season,” said Anouk Patty, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Chief of Sport. “Their commitment—both in summer training at the Center of Excellence and on the snow—has set the stage for what promises to be an exciting season.”

The program is led by Chief of Sport Anouk Patty, Alpine Head Coaches Paul Kristofic (women) and Mark Tilston (men), supported by an extensive staff of world-class coaches, trainers, and medical professionals.
