Italy’s Mattia Casse claimed his first World Cup victory in the Val Gardena / Gröden super-G, edging Jared Goldberg of the U.S. by just 0.01 seconds. Casse celebrated his milestone win at the same venue where he earned his first podium two years ago, crediting his love for the slope and conditions. Goldberg, fired up after his career-best finish, delivered the U.S. men’s first podium of the season, while pre-race favorite Marco Odermatt of Switzerland rounded out the top three.
