Delivering fantastic skiing, Brignone attacked both runs at her limit and won the race by an amazing (+1.36). For the fourth time this season, she became the oldest woman to win. However, because Gut-Behrami finished tenth, Brignone fell 21 points short of earning her second World Cup GS title.
Sunday, March 17th: Saalbach Austria Switzerland's Lara Gut-Behrami will try to lock up the season GS title. However, the only woman with a mathematical possibility of overtaking her is Italian Federica Brignone, who leads after the first run. Brignone would have to win to earn the globe, and Gut-Behrami would have to finish outside the top 15. Gut-Behrami's first run efforts have her ranked 6th (+1.67).

Skiing with bib 2 in warm salted snow, the Soldeu slalom winner has put herself in the driver's seat for her career fourth victory.
On March 10th Åre, Sweden hosted the final regular season slalom of the 2024 season. It would witness the injury return of Stifel US Ski Team's Mikaela Shiffrin. Even if Germany's Lena Dürr could find a way to win, Shiffrin would only need 13 points to clinch the season's slalom title. However, In her first race back since January 26th, Shiffrin did much more. The first run leader ended the day with her career 96th victory, her 59th in slalom. On the hill, she won her first World Cup and clinched the 2024 slalom title, her eighth.

The North American (NorAm) Cup series continued into its final regular season races. The women competed in two days of slalom at Devils Glen, Ontario, and transitioned to two days of giant slalom at Georgian Peaks, Ontario.

Although the warm temperatures and a complex course made it difficult for the last men to be fast he skied brilliantly to overcome France's Clement Noel and Germany's Linus Strasser. However, all three men finished on the podium.
After the first run of the Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup Slalom, Germany's Linus Strasser is the race leader. However, there are three others within a second of his time. French star Clement Noel is second (+0.40), and the season slalom leader Austrian Manuel Feller was the third fastest (+0.46). The only other racer within a second of Strasser is Norwegian Timon Haugan, who was second in Palisades Tahoe a year ago.

The men's downhill Alpine World Cup regular season has concluded. As the season has ended, the stage is now set for a spectacle of speed, skill, and sheer determination at the upcoming Saalbach men's downhill finals.
The Men's World Cup Downhill is heating up as the season inches closer to its finale. With only two races left in the calendar, the title is up for grabs between France's Cyprien Sarrazin and Switzerland's Marco Odermatt. Sarrazin has clinched three victories this season, while Odermatt closely follows with two wins. Currently, Odermatt leads the downhill standings with 516 points, but Sarrazin is nipping at his heels with just 6 points behind at 510. Italy's Dominik Paris trails in a distant third with 329 points, while last season's title winner, Norway's Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, is out due to injury.
